Catching up!

So last week we went to Lagoon with my brother, mom, and my mom's friend. The night before Mike had taunted me and told me that he didn't think that I would go on the Rocket. I probably wouldn't have if he hadn't made fun of me. Anyone one who knows me, knows that I am extremely afraid of heights, but I sucked it up and went on re-entry. Mike started laughing when we got to the top because I was freaking out when it hit the stop an jolted us.. I'm glad I did it though, it was way scary for me but I lived. Mike tried to get me to go on the Catapult and the bungee jump thing, but there was no way I could gather enough strength to go on either. We had a fun day. I hadn't been to Lagoon since 9th grade, so it was fun. Below are some pictures of the day.

All in all it was a fun day. Other then that we have just been working and on our days off just enjoying not working.

A New Chapter

Mike and I have started a New Chapter. We are currently trying to better our selves by losing weight. We got the Wii Fit to help us do this. The Wii Fit makes exercising extremely fun. We absolutely love it. It helps with posture as well as bringing down our BMI and weight. I love the aerobics and the yoga. There is a boxing mode that gives me a good work out, but it is also a blast to do. I'm just hitting air, but it makes me feel so much better once I'm done. :) I can't all my frustration from work out and I don't have to hit anything at all. Mike likes the balance games the best, and he loves the fact that he is way better at them then me. I also took over Mike's body bug. It helps out so much. I love that it keeps track of my calorie intake and also how many calories I burn. It's so much easier then writing everything down. Who knew that working out could be so much fun? I didn't or I would have done it before I got to where I am at.

What will our kids look like?

So I was bored today and found this site called makemebabies.com and so I took some pictures of Mike and I and uploaded them to the site to see what it would say our kids look like. Sorry about the outdated photo of me. The site wouldn't take high quality photos and this is the closest photo I have that matches my actual hair color that was under 1 mp. After I was all done setting up the account on the site and had copied the codes on to the blog, Mike told me that I could have made a more recent photo smaller in size. Oh well that's a lot of work just for something that is just for fun.

We got Tickets.

Ok so this is going to be a short post, but I just wanted to share that we got tickets to the So You Think You Can Dance Concert. I happened to come across the presale password so I ordered them on Friday and got excellent seats. We are so excited to go.

Top 4 SYTYCD and Catching up on our Life!

Okay so I will get to the recent events in our life in just a second but I just wanted to start by saying what a fantastic top 4 for So You Think You Can Dance. 3 of 4 people that I picked to be in the top 4 are. I had picked Joshua, Katee, Twitch and Kherrington. Since Kherrington was eliminated Courtney is a perfect replacement. This is first year that I honestly do not have a preference to who wins. I'm leaning towards Twitch, but it's so hard to decide. Mike also thinks that Twitch will win. I've started a vote, please select who you want to win.

Now to our life. Everything has basically been the same. My aunt passed away suddenly last week, so I spent Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday in Idaho so I could attend the funeral. I just have to say that since Mike wasn't able to take time off to go up with me, he made sure that my house was spotless by the time I came home so I didn't have to worry about anything and could just relax when I got home. It was so sweet. I know I can always count on him.

Then yesterday Mike's Grandma Kay and Grandpa Tom came to visit. The whole family got together for dinner. It was nice seeing Grandma and Grandpa. Mike, Bill ( Mike's dad) and Grandpa Tom all swim and played basketball in the pool. It was hilarious watching them because all 3 of them had a hard time making the baskets. Mike and his dad also raced yesterday. They can be very competitive, but Mike won the first race, but the second race was interrupted when Mike got jabbed in his shoulder, by an unknown source. :) After dinner Grandpa Tom, Tina, Noah, Mike and I watched So You Think You Can Dance. It was awesome watching it in the theater room. We have been missing out all season. Hopefully we can watch the finale on that big screen. Below are some pictures of the last few weeks.

All in all it was a good break from the daily grind. We have a wonderful family.
