I know I have been really bad about updating this. Life has just been very hectic the past few months. Well we were the doggie daycare in January when Mike's parents went on a cruise. It was fun having all the dogs around. TeeJay got a little jealous of Archie paying so much attention to me but he survived. TeeJay's bone finally died in February. For those of you who don't know, TeeJay had this toy bone that he stole from Jozy when they were puppies, it was originally hers and we had gotten him a person shaped chew toy. He became very attached to that thing; it was like his security blanket. Well Mike kept sewing it back up when it would rip, but this last time it was not fixable. It was very said; however I am please to say that TeeJay hasn't really been looking for it when he wants to play like I thought he would. He is a very smart dog so I'm sure he understands that it is gone, it still broke my heart though.
Mike and I both started going back to school. We decided that it would be good for us to finish our degrees. It hasn't been too bad so far, so hopefully it stays that way. My sister in-law Tina let me take Noah's 8 year old pictures. It was so much fun. Noah was such a trooper. He was more than willing to climb on things so we could get different shots. The pictures turned out really well. Yesterday we had a family dinner for Noah's birthday. He requested Mike's BBQ chicken, which is always really good. It was a fun get together. Below are some pictures.

Fun times and Christmas
So when we got back from our vacation, we went the Salt Lake Temple to see the lights. I have to say we were very disappointed. I had heard people say how great it was, but it was so much better when I was younger. I remember them doing way more lights and decorations.
We celebrated Christmas with Mike's family on the Tuesday before Christmas, since this year it was Christmas with my family. It was fun getting together and watching all the little ones open presents. The little ones where more fascinated with the wrapping paper and boxes then anything else. It was really cute.
Christmas eve my family came over to my house. We watched some Christmas movies and played some games. I also took Christmas pictures of Izaak to give me more practice. We spent Christmas at my mom's house. We just enjoyed a nice Christmas meal and played one of the new games Mike got. It was fun until we had to drive home. The weather was pretty bad leaving my mom's house but it was very scary once we got over the point of the mountain. When we got over the mountain the wind was blowing the snow to the side and we couldn't see more then a foot in front of us. We were so worried that we were going to drive off the freeway. Then when we got off the freeway we still couldn't see, we had no idea whether we were still on the road or not. Luckily we made it home safe and sound.
New Years my dad came in town so we all went to dinner and a movie. We saw Yesman. Which was ok. They gave it more hype than it deserved, but it was still fun to go to the movies to celebrate New Years Eve. I had never actually done that before.
Also on a side note, I was able to surprise Mike with his Christmas gift this year. I was very proud of myself. I got him 4 T-shirts that were The Office themed. It was a great Holiday Season and I am so glad to have shared it with everyone that we did.
At the Lights. Tyson was there but he was being uncooperative so there aren't any pictures of him.

Vacation
So Mike's parents got an awesome deal on a Garden Villa on the cruise they were going on, so we got to go with them. We found out 3 days before we needed to leave, but it was way worth the rush. Our room was awesome, heck the whole experience was awesome. It was my first time going out of the country and also my first time going further east then Colorado. Both Mike and I were so lucky to get the time off and be able to go. Thanks Mom and Dad Gast it was the best trip ever.
The places we stopped on our cruise was awesome. Our first stop was Roatan, Honduras. It was absolutely beautiful. We went to Gumblina Park and got to interact with Parrots and Monkeys. When the monkey was sitting on my shoulder it decided to pee on me. It was really funny. Then the Monkey decided it liked Mike's hair gel so it started eating his hair. It was really cool. Then we went to Tabyana Beach and went Snorkeling. Walking into the water was like walking into a bath. It was just the right temperature. It was my first time snorkeling and I didn't want to stop. To be that close to the fish and the reef was amazing.
The 2nd stop was Belize City, Belize. There we went to Lamani Park and saw all the ruins. I climbed to the top of one of the Temples, and although it was worth it, I was scared out of my mind. But the view from the top was absolutely breath taking.
The 3rd stop was Cozumel, Mexico. We had planned on going Snubaing, but the wind was so bad that the cancelled it for safety reasons, so we walked around Cozumel. We walked down to their local grocery store so I could see the store that Mike and his Dad shopped at when they lived in Mexico. It wasn't the same one since they lived on the Western Side of Mexico but it was the same chain.
The 4th stop was supposed to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas, but the winds were so bad they re-routed us to Key West. There we went to the Butterfly and the Aquarium. At the aquarium both Mike and I petted a Nurse Shark. We didn't get pictures but we got video. Unfortunately every time I try to put a video on here it doesn't work so I will have to have Mike put it on later. Later on in the day we were supposed to go out on a Catamaran and Snorkel and see the only living Coral Reef in North America, but because of the storm that had just came through the told us that there would only be 5 feet of visibility so we decided not to do that. Instead we walked down to the National Park and played on the beach. We were going to Snorkel there but when we realized that 75 degree water is actually pretty cold we just waded. We really enjoyed every stop we made. The places that we stopped where absolutely gorgeous.
On the ship we enjoyed having Breakfast on our deck and watching the Sun come up and crest the ocean. We went to a few Speciality restaurants and had some amazing food. Also we were privileged to be able to go up and meet the Captain and explore the bridge, and have dinner with the Captain and Staff Captain. We also climbed the rock wall. I tried to do it all but I started freaking out because of being up high and having the feeling of no control so I chickened out. I'm so glad we had the opportunity to go on a Vacation like this. Since there are too many pictures to post on here I have posted a few. If you want to see more you can go to my facebook page and check them out.

2 Years and going strong
On December 2nd, Mike and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary. It has been an amazing 2 years and look forward to the many more to come.
We celebrated by going out to dinner at Carvers. It was really nice and the food was great. Mike also surprised me with balloons and flowers.
Here is a picture from our Wedding day.
